Betty Pearl Letot, age 91, of Dugger, formerly of Worthington, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born on May 14, 1929, the daughter of Preston and Velva (Gabbard) Bennett.

After losing the love of her life in 1970 from an accident, she went to work for Hook's Drug Store in Linton and later worked out of the main office in Indianapolis, retiring after 17 years as a merchandising consultant in which she won several awards for her merchandising skills, she covered Southern Indiana, Northern Kentucky and Southern Illinois. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Worthington where she served as pianist, Deaconess and Treasurer. She was a member of the Delta Theta Tau and 20th Century Study Club.

After retirement she met and married Julian Letot and they enjoyed many happy times together.

After Julian's passing, Betty worked as a caregiver for many people in the area, she lovingly cared for other people and they loved her in return. The last job she pursued was working for Pioneer Seed Corn sorting corn with her dear friend Jean Ward until she was 88.

Betty will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She always had a warm smile for everyone.

She is survived by her three children, Paula Noel, William Noel and Tena Hineman; grandchildren, Jason (Carrie) Hines, Jessica (Shawn) Clifford, Lindsey (Anthony) Delorinzo, Scott Davis, Natalie, Christina Chambers and Robert (Michelle) Davis as well as great grandchildren, Maddison, Brylee, Brody, Presley, Colton and Montana.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husbands and daughter, Sherri Lyn Noel.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm at Worthington First Baptist Church on Saturday, March 20, 2021.
