Betty Mae Sullivan

Betty Mae Sullivan, 88, of Bloomfield passed away Saturday January 9, 2021 at her residence. Born May 30, 1932 in Lyons, Indiana the daughter of Gilbert F. and Edna B. (Autrey) Smith.

Betty was retired as a cabinet sales specialist at Wickes Lumber in Bloomfield, she had worked at and became the manager of the Lighthouse Restaurant. Betty was a 71-year member of the Bloomfield First Baptist Church, she had 65 years of faithful service to the First Baptist Church Sunday school and children’s ministries, she was a seamstress for many, former secretary for the Presbyterian Church, the Happy Workers Home Economic Club and was active in the former Arion Club in Switz City.

Surviving relatives include her husband Donald Wayne Sullivan, her children, Larry (Amanda) Sullivan, Gary (Carolyn) Sullivan, Judy Stahl, Dennis (Dawn) Sullivan, Glen (Terri) Sullivan, her grandchildren, Laura (Eric) Miller, Kristina (J.B.) Allen, Melissa (Chad) Anderson, Jonathan Sullivan, Rachel (Chris) Hardesty, Erin (Chris) Wilson, Michael (Lindsey) Sullivan, JJ (Pete) Thompson, Travis (Marie) Stahl, Samantha (Landon) Groomer, Randy (Kim) Sullivan, Brandi Sullivan, Shannon (John) Hasler, Cody (Paige) Sullivan, Conner Sullivan and Colton Sullivan. Betty has twenty-two great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by a grandson, Trevor Sullivan, a son-in-law, Charlie Stahl, Jr; and her parents.

Due to Covid, visitation and funeral services will be private.

The family wishes all memorial donations be made to the Children’s Ministry’s at the Bloomfield First Baptist Church in Betty’s name, 500 Lincoln Drive, Bloomfield, Indiana 47424.
