Betty Lou Ranard, 89, of Princeton, IN, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 in Evansville. Born December 20, 1931 in Marco, IN, she was the daughter of the late Louie William and Clarabelle (Stancombe) Jones.

Betty was a graduate of Linton Stockton High School. She studied at Vincennes University, Indiana University and Indiana State University. She married Rev. Jack Ranard on June 28,1952 in Linton. He preceded her in death in 2003. She was a private music teacher specializing in Piano and Organ. She served with her husband in the First Baptist Church in Bicknell, IN and the First Baptist Church in Boonville, IN.

She is survived by her children, Jacquelyn Smith and Gary (Charise) Ranard; four grandchildren, Malinda Smith, Jean (Corey) Ashby, Brooks (Tara) Ranard, Clay (Skylar) Ranard; five great grandchildren, Miles Ashby, Charlotte Smith, Beckett Ranard, Jack Ranard and Logan Ranard; a brother, Don (Sharon) Jones and a sister, Marilyn (Dave) Bastean.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Beth Ann Ranard, a granddaughter, Betsy Smith, five brothers, Dale Jones, Joe Jones, Larry Jones, Jerry Jones, Clyde Franklin Jones, and a sister, Mary Alice Jones.

Funeral services for Betty will be conducted at 11:30 AM Saturday, November 20, 2021 at West & Parish & Pedigo funeral home with Rev. Bob Sampson officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.
