Betty L. Emery, 90, of Bloomfield, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Glenburn Home in Linton. Born October 13, 1928 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Harley and Delphia Louise (Kirk) Sparks.

She worked for RCA, Crane and Pielemeier Drug Store in Bloomfield. She attended Mansions in Heaven Church.

Surviving relatives include: two children, Dianna Adcock (Jim) and Jeff Emery (Janie) both of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Jimmy Adcock, Adam Adcock and Juli Baker; great grandchildren, AJ Adcock, Brent Adcock, Tristian Adcock, Raigan Baker and Brynn Baker; her siblings, Wendell Sparks, Alice Burcham and Janice Winkler; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. “Buck” Emery on December 9, 2010, one sister, Phyllis Cobb, one brother, Junior Sparks and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Arlen Pope and Rev. Erin Raper officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Antioch Cemetery.
