Betty L. Breeden

Betty L. Breeden, 81, of Bloomfield, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Born March 15, 1941 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Leonard and Myrtle (Hillenburg) Taylor.

Betty worked at IGA as a cashier and was a homemaker.

Surviving relatives include: Janie Emery (Jeff), Judy Purcell (Tim), and Joyce Carmichael (Troy) all of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Juli Baker (Derek), Jared Helms (Kasie), Janessa Helms, Jacob Carmichael, Cade Carmichael, Dustin Purcell and Caitlin Preston (Garrett); great grandchildren, Raigan Baker, Brynn Baker, Addis Helms, Iva Grace Helms, Emma Brinson, Cora Brinson and Zeke Brinson; and one brother, Everett Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wesley Breeden, Sr. on June 20, 2015, one brother, Robert Taylor, a sister, Lois Taylor and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Jack Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Chapel cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
