Betty Jean (Groomer) Workman

Betty Jean (Groomer) Workman, 80, of Owensburg passed away Wednesday September 15, 2021 surrounded by her family. Born July 17, 1941 in Linton, Indiana the daughter of Everett and Dortha (Sullivan) Groomer.

Betty was a homemaker, she was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Church in Solsberry, she loved her children, grandchildren and Jesus.

Surviving Betty are her four daughters, Peggy Doyle, Bobbie Hamlin, Christie Tudor and Angela Stambaugh; she has fifteen grandchildren and great grandchildren, two sisters, Brenda Manion and Barbara Epeards.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Bob Workman and three siblings, Wilma Hackler, Donna Workman, Roger Groomer and her parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 P.M. on Friday and Noon Saturday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Brother Eugene Helms officiating. Burial will follow at Solsberry Cemetery.
