Benny Craig, 81, of Owensburg, went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2018. He went peacefully surrounded by family.

Benny is survived by daughters, Lisa Pigg (Bryon) of Carlisle and Misty Craig; Sons, Bradley Craig (Cathy) and Joshua Craig; grandchildren, Natasha Eccles (Eli), Justin Ellis (Jenna), Jamie Follstad and Amber Craig; great grandchildren, Kasen and Hank Ellis, Christian Follstad and Esau Eccles; brothers, Jame Craig (Leann), Jack Craig (Nancy) and Ronnie Craig (Maureen).

He was preceded in death by his parents Ishmael and Gladys Craig and his wife Ruth Ann (Harper) Craig.

Benny attended Faith Community church in Dugger, Indiana and Scotland Full Gospel Church in Scotland, Indiana.

He was excellent at his trade of pipefitting for many years until he retired. He loved serving the Lord and had a jail ministry at the Bloomfield jail for many years leading people to God.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with pastor Shawn Farris officiating. Interment will follow in Scotland Cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to either of his attending churches.
