Barbara K. Lent, age 90, of Worthington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Owen Valley Health Campus. She was born in Greene County on September 14, 1928, the daughter of  the late William Elmer Cullison & Lena (Scrogham) Cullison.

She was a graduate of Worthington High School. She loved to cook and watch her Cincinnati Reds play baseball. 

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Marion Lent of Worthington, son, Jeff (Doris) Lent of Coal City, daughters, Loina Reynolds of Coal City and Janine (Keith) Kramer of Bicknell; grandchildren, Gena Reynolds, April (Kenny) Legg, Stephanie (Damon) Golish and Jennifer Kramer; great grandchildren, Taylor, Easton, Braxton and Ashlyn; sister, Geraldine Nicholson and brothers, Robert Cullison and Dale Cullison.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Perry, Lucille Thompson, Betty Talley, Elmer Cullison and Norman Cullison.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home Worthington Chapel at 12:00 Noon with Matt Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Worthington Cemetery in Worthington.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America through the funeral home.
