Barbara Jean Slater, 65, of Springville passed away Thursday July 18, 2019 at Aperion Care is Spencer. Born November 26, 1953 in Linton, Indiana the daughter of Ivan Dewayne and Helen Freida (May) Hash.

Barbara was a homemaker.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Carl Slater, one granddaughter, Ashley Slater, her mother, Freida Hash, one brother, Russell Hash, and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father Ivan Dewayne Hash, one son Scottie Slater and one sister Debra Hash.

Friends may call from 11 A.M. on Monday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday at Jenkins FUneral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Sam Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.
