Barbara J. Roberts

Barbara J. Roberts, 82, of Owensburg passed away Friday June 28, 2019, in the comfort of her own home. She was born August 24, 1936, the daughter of Samuel P. and Mary A. (Barnes) Carter.

She is survived by her three children; Kyle Roberts, Deanna Jacob, and Mark Roberts, her six grandchildren; Julia Jacob, Gary Roberts, Kaci Jacob, Victor Roberts, Sam Jacob, and Anndrea Jacob, her four great grandchildren; Jessah and Jordan Stone, Logahn Sowders, and Kanyan Rowland, her three great-great grandchildren, Jackson Stone, Ivan Haywood, and new baby on the way, one brother and sister, nieces and nephews, many cousins, and plenty of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer A. Roberts on December 30, 1998.

Barbara was a homemaker, she loved to collect tea pots, travel with her husband, read books, and prepare a dinner every Sunday for her family.

Barbara has returned home to Elmer, she will be missed dearly.

There will not be a public visitation.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday July 3, 2019 at 11:00 A.M at Kentucky Ridge Cemetery.
