Barbara J. Frederick, 90, of Linton, Indiana passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Morgan County, Indiana.  She was born on April 2, 1929 to Rupert M. Barnett and Hazel (Hash) Barnett.  Barbara was married to her sweetheart, Donnie Ray Frederick on May 27, 1974.

She was a member of 12th Street Church of God.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Barbara is survived by: her stepchildren, Cathy Ann McCarty of Bicknell, Susan Marie Adams of CA, Ronald Lee Frederick of Linton; grandchildren, Angela (Donnie) Beverly, B. J. (David) Elmore, Bobby Dunning, Wendy (Mark) Elray and Shelly (Bill) Puckett; one sister, Imogene Jones of Mooresville, IN.

Barbara was preceded in death by: her parents, Robert and Hazel Barnett; husband, Donnie Ray Frederick; brothers, Edward E. Barnett and Ruppert Barnett; sister, Mary Janell McCombs; stepson, Michael Ray Frederick and brother-in-law, Gene Jones.

Funeral Services will be held at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Friends and family may call from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
