Amber Nichole Greene, age 35, of Linton, Indiana passed away on Monday March 21, 2022. She was born July 5, 1986, the daughter of Debra Smith.

She was a Linton Stockton graduate and attended Vincennes University.

Amber had a heart of gold. She would help anyone in need and always enjoyed being around her family, especially her mother. She loved “riding dirty” on her hover board, mushroom hunting, being with her mom , two children, and caring for others.

She is survived by her mother; Debra (Dana) Smith of Jacksonville Florida, children; Allyson “Punky” Greene and Damian “Wilber” Greene, siblings; David Lee Pitcher II, of Washington, Roy James Pitcher, of New Castle, half-sister; Caitlin Greene, of Coalmont, special cousin, Tia Hibbard of Linton, step grandmother, Marilyn Gambill, Aunt; Jillda (Chris) Spink, uncle; Donnie Gambill, half aunt; Pam Yeryar, half uncles; Rick Gambill and Vic Gambill, and several extended family, friends, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother; Judy Gambill, grandpa; Don Gambill, great grandmother; Joyce Crane, and brother; John R. Tidd.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Monday, March 28, 2022.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
