New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, July 15, 2026:

July 14, 9:11 a.m., Adam Daniel Simmons, 40, Bloomington, was arrested on a warrant for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction. No bond was allowed. 

July 15, 6:58 a.m., Alexandria Marie Hale, 29, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
