New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, June 2, 2026:

June 1, 10:16 a.m., Michael Fairle Swindell, 22, Bloomington, was arrested on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine. No bond was allowed. 

June 1, 11:08 p.m., Jesse Martinez-Cartwright, 23, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle while intoxicated-endangerment, and operating a vehicle with an alcohol content equivalent to .15 or more. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $400.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
