New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, May 12, 2026:

May 11, 1:32 p.m., Nick Chris Sarris, 47, Linton, was arrested on a writ of attachment for failure to appear. He was held on a $500 only cash bond. He was released after posting $500. 

May 11, 10:55 p.m., Olivia Farahlynn Wolford, 18, Switz City, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
