New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, Feb. 9, 2026:

Feb. 6, 12:03 p.m., Shadow Lee Kendall, 37, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of domestic battery, intimidation-defendant draws or uses a deadly weapon, intimidation-threat to commit a forcible felony, resisting law enforcement using a vehicle, criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon, resisting law enforcement using a vehicle, dealing in methamphetamine-between five and 10 grams, possession of marijuana, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon. No bond was allowed.

Feb. 6, 12:39 p.m., Larry Shawn Layne, 49, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for child molesting. No bond was allowed.

Feb. 7, 2:49 p.m., Megan Gail DeStefano, 20, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. No bond was allowed.

Feb. 7, 5:26 p.m., Lee Gregory Porter, 65, Switz City, was arrested on a warrant for landowner consent to use violation. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $500.

Feb. 9, 4:27 a.m., Sierra Michelle Sullivan, 33, Bloomington, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug, possession of paraphernalia, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. No bond was allowed.
