New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Feb. 27, 2026:

Feb. 27, 5:07 a.m., Arianna Lynn Bryant, 21, Springville, was arrested on preliminary charges of refusal to aid an officer and interfering with public safety. Her bond was set at $1,500 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was released after posting $150. 

Feb. 27, 6:26 a.m., Aaron David Corwin, 31, Springville, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a Schedule II, II, or IV controlled substance, possession of a legend drug of precursor, possession of marijuana, refusal to aid an officer, and interfering with public safety. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
