New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026: 

Sept. 30, 9:54 a.m., Terry Joe House, 64, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. No bond was allowed. 

Sept. 30. 12:38 p.m., Bailey Sheri Kelly, 36, Bloomington, was arrested on a warrant for criminal trespass. No bond was allowed. 

Sept. 30, 8:14 p.m., William Louis Sater, II, 35, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery of a person less than 14 years old committed by a person at least 18 years old. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
