New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, April 8, 2025:

April 7, 3:46 p.m., Shamonti Denayi Wilson, 27, Evansville, was arrested on a warrant for theft when the value of property is at least $750 and less than $50,000. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Special Deputy Trista Myers was the arresting officer.

April 7, 6:43 p.m., Austin Michael Singleton, 22, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of interfering with public safety and weapon/instrument of violence—altered gun identification. On the first charge, his bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed, while no bond was allowed on the second charge. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Andrew Weeks was the arresting officer.

April 7, 9:17 p.m., Darian Nichole Howard, 29, Shelburn, was arrested on a preliminary charge of identity deception. On that charge, her bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was also arrested on warrants for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hypodermic needle or syringe, possession of a legend drug or precursor, possession of paraphernalia, forgery, and court order probation violation. On those charges, no bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Michael Stanley was the arresting officer.
