New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, April 1, 2025:

March 31, 8:41 a.m., Kathleen Agness Preece, 41, Bloomfield, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle. No bond was allowed. Bloomfield Town Marshal Kenneth Tharp was the arresting officer. 

March 31, 10:28 a.m., Keaton John Haywood, 32, Newberry, was arrested on a warrant for nonsupport of dependant/child violation. No bond was allowed. Greene County Courthouse Security Officer Doug Correll was the arresting officer. 

March 31, 12:15 p.m., Bo Leroy Driggs, 20, Bloomfield, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant for residential entry and criminal mischief. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
