New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Feb. 28, 2025:

Feb. 27, 2:32 p.m., Brandon Nikolas Hubbard, 39, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. On those charges, he was held without bond. He was also arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. On that charge, his bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% bond allowed. Linton Police Department Officer JR Blazier was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
