New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025:

Nov. 26, 8:26 p.m., Richard Eugene Fry, 42, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for child molesting, sex crime–child molesting, incest, vicarious sexual gratification, providing obscene material to minors, incest, and obstruction of justice. No bond was allowed. 

Nov. 26, 10:53 p.m., Cody Allen McCarty, 19, Springville, was arrested on preliminary charges of dealing marijuana. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $100.

Nov. 28, 11:56 p.m., James Allen Picou, 50, Bloomfield, was arrested on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction. His bond was set at $8,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $800.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
