New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025:

Nov. 24, 4:21 p.m., Kaydyn Scott Marshall, 20, Sandborn, was arrested on a warrant for possession of marijuana. No bond was allowed. 

Nov 24, 9:39 p.m., Ren Daniel Barton, 38, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for theft when the value of property is at least $750 and less than $50,000 and domestic battery. No bond was allowed. 

Nov. 25, 2:32 a.m., Brandon Harrison Taylor, 45, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of sexual battery. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
