New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025:

Jan. 7, 11:44 a.m., David Lee Robertson, 53, Bloomington, was arrested on a warrant for operating a vehicle while intoxicated—endangerment, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of a hypodermic needle or syringe. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Special Deputy Brandon Eads was the arresting officer. 

Jan. 7, 5:51 p.m., Vernon Joseph Chambers, 35, Springville, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Jordan Allor was the arresting officer. 

Jan. 7, 10:47 p.m., Andrew Steven Bland, 37, Switz City, was arrested on a warrant for nonsupport of dependent/child violations. His bond was set at $16,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Michael Stanley was the arresting officer.
