New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024:

Sept. 14, 4:26 p.m., Jason Ross Nichols, 48, Solsberry, was arrested on a warrant for lifetime habitual traffic violator, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia, and possession of a Schedule II, III, or IV controlled substance. His bond was set at $10,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was also arrested on a warrant for lifetime habitual traffic violator, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia, and resisting law enforcement using a vehicle. His bond was set at $10,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Devan Goad was the arresting officer. 

Sept. 14, 6:37 p.m., Thomas Carol Jaroscak, 47, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant for direct contempt of court. His bond was set at $500 cash only. He was also arrested on warrants for disorderly conduct and driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years. On those charges, he was held without bond. Jasonville Police Department Officer Andrew Johnson was the arresting officer. 

Sept. 14, 9:25 p.m., Harold Scott Alsman, 38, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for direct contempt of court. His bond was set at $500 cash only. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Michael Stanley was the arresting officer.
