New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, July 2, 2024:

July 1, 2:05 PM, Rikki Nicole Sharp, 39, Linton, was arrested on an out of county warrant for domestic battery with a deadly weapon, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, and neglect of a dependent. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Special Deputy Trista Myers was the arresting officer. 

July 2, 3:13 AM, Amber Lynn Hendrickson, 35, Bloomfield, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while intoxicated—endangerment. Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was released after posting $400.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
