New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, July 15, 2024:

July 12, 6:13 p.m., Vernon Joseph Chambers, 34, Springville, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery on a person less than 14 years old. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released the following day after posting $400. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Andrew Weeks was the arresting officer. 

July 12, 10:20 p.m., Jordan Paul Ray, 22, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant for theft. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Micheal Stanley was the arresting officer.
