New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, July 11, 2024:

July 10, 2:58 p.m., Jimmy Dale Modesitt, 63, Brazil, was arrested on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. No bond was allowed. He was booked into jail by Greene County Sheriff’s Department Special Deputy Trista Myers. 

July 10, 11:56 p.m., Matthew Allen Lewandowski, 44, Westphalia, was arrested on preliminary charges of driving while suspended with a prior conviction of driving while suspended and invasion of privacy. No bond was allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Mitchell Eberhardt was the arresting officer. 

July 11, 8:32 a.m., Robert Lee Secrest, 52, Jasonville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of battery with bodily injury. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Jasonville Police Chief Ryan Van Horn was the arresting officer.
