New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, April 17, 2024:

April 16, 1:20 PM, Amanda Brooke Weber, 34, Sullivan, was arrested on a preliminary charge of criminal trespass. Her bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was released later the same day after posting $100. Linton Police Department Officer David Aerne was the arresting officer. 

April 16, 3:43 PM, Norma Jean Campbell, 59, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant for possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia and possession of paraphernalia. No bond was allowed. Jasonville Police Chief Ryan Van Horn was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
