New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, March 4, 2024:

March 1, 1:53 PM, Rebecca Lynn Gentry, 25, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of theft when the property value is at least $750 but less than $50,000. Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was released the same day after posting $400. Linton Police Department Officer JR Blazier was the arresting officer. 

March 1, 2:33 PM, Michael Rayne Henline, 30, Solsberry, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old and a probation violation. On the domestic battery charge, his bond was set at $4,ooo surety with 10% cash allowed, while no bond was allowed on the probation violation. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Devan Goad was the arresting officer. 

March 2, 2:50 AM, Chelsea Marie Finchum, 28, Freedom, was arrested on a warrant for theft with a prior unrelated conviction for theft or conversion. Her bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Kelly Hutchens was the arresting officer. 

March 2, 6:30 PM, John Kevin Irons, 55, Jasonville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of invasion of privacy. No bond was allowed. Jasonville Police Department Officer Skylar Scott was the arresting officer. 

March 3, 12:25 AM, Dustin Lee Covey, 40, Lyons, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released later the same day after posting $100. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Jordan Allor was the arresting officer. 

March 4, 8:44 AM, Eliseo Cortez Diaz, 40, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of battery resulting in serious bodily injury, intimidation, and strangulation. His bond was set at $15,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Janzen Franklin was the arresting officer.
