New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024:

Dec. 24, 12:13 a.m., Vernon Joseph Chambers, 35, Springville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $400. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Chris Anderson was the arresting officer.

Dec. 25, 1:40 a.m., Jacob Lee Hurst, 30, Indianapolis, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant for driving while suspended. No bond was allowed. Jasonville Police Department Officer Skylar Scott was the arresting officer.

Dec. 25, 3:53 a.m., Susan Rena Judd, 58, Solsberry, was arrested on preliminary charges of battery and intimidation. Her bond was set at $3,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Chris Anderson was the arresting officer.
