New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Dec. 13, 2024:

Dec. 12, 9:50 a.m., Eric James King, 42, Shoals, was arrested on a warrant for robbery, vehicle theft, public escape, battery committed with a deadly weapon, resisting law enforcement using a vehicle, and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon. His bond was set at $75,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Zach Mead was the arresting officer.

Dec. 12, 3:06 p.m., Roy Matthew Keith Arthur, 41, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for strangulation. No bond was allowed. Worthington Town Marshal Jacob Gambill was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
