New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Nov. 8, 2024:

Nov. 7, 8:06 a.m., Zachary Franklin Baker, 32, Bloomfield, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration of .15 or more, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated—endangerment. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Chris Anderson was the arresting officer. 

Nov. 7, 3:26 p.m., Brandon Lee Lash, 43, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for theft when the value of property is at least $750 and less than $50,000 and theft. No bond information was provided. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Special Deputy Ted Holley was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
