New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024:

Nov. 25, 1:48 p.m., Joshua Lee Carmichael, 34, Worthington, was arrested on preliminary charges of confinement and domestic battery with prior unrelated convictions. His bond was set at $8,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. 

Nov. 26, 7:06 a.m., Isaac Curtis Hale, 36, Sullivan, was arrested on a warrant for two counts of nonsupport of dependent child violations. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
