New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, Oct. 7, 2024:

Oct. 4, 1:49 p.m., Alexa Inez Nelson, 29, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for battery against a public safety official engaged in official duty. Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. She was also arrested on a warrant for domestic battery with serious bodily injury and interfering in the reporting of a crime. No bond was allowed. Linton Police Department Officer JR Blazier was the arresting officer.

Oct. 4, 6:54 p.m., Kevin Carl Padgett, Sr., 56, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Mitchell Eberhardt was the arresting officer.

Oct. 6, 1:16 a.m., Derrick Allen Lawson, 42, Brazil, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Andrew Shelton was the arresting officer.

Oct. 6, 9:58 a.m., Gerardo Felix Felix, 30, Noblesville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $100.
