New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024:

Oct. 2, 4:29 p.m., Harold Scott Alsman, 37, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for criminal mischief. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Cade Herndon was the arresting officer. 

Oct. 2, 7:20 p.m., Austin Michael Moronez, 29, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and interfering with public safety. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Linton Police Department Officer Jerrad Pirtle was the arresting officer. 

Oct. 2, 11:26 p.m., Aiden Michael Chavira, 22, Lyons, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old, invasion of privacy, intimidation with a deadly weapon, and domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old. No bond was allowed.
