New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, July 17, 2023:

July 14, 3:03 PM, Jon Matthew Koob, 37, Newberry was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% allowed. He was released after posting $100. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Harvey Holt was the arresting officer. 

July 14, 10:57 PM, Sarah Nicole Roseberry, 33, Switz City, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. Her bond was set at $1,000 surety with 10% allowed. She was released after posting $100. Linton Police Department Officer Alan Jackson was the arresting officer. 

July 15, 9:02 AM, John Robert Wood, Jr., 36, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery on a person less than 14 years old committed by a person who is at least 18. No bond was allowed. He was also arrested on new charges of resisting law enforcement using a vehicle and driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years. On those charges, a bond of $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed was set. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Michael McGough was the arresting officer. 

July 15, 2:45 PM, Williams Raymond Murphy, Jr., 29, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for possession of methamphetamine. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Michael McGough was the arresting officer. 

July 16, 8:52 PM, Jacqueline Lynn Hale, 60, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of leaving the scene of a property damage crash. Her bond was set at $500 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Michael Stanley was the arresting officer. 

July 16, 9:18 PM, James Michael Cooksey, 76, Linton, was arrested on a charge of invasion of privacy. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Caleb Sipes was the arresting officer.
