March 22, 2023, 9:16 AM, Destani N. Scott, 29, Orleans, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued out of another county in a case involving felony theft. She was being held without bond. Indiana State Police Trooper Eric Nash was the arresting officer.

March 22, 2023, 2:44 PM, Sherman Quince Anthony, 58, Richmond, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear in a case involving felony identity deception and misdemeanor refusal to identify self while stopped for an infraction. His bond was set at $5000 surety with 10% cash allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
