New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, September 16, 2022:

September 15, 2022, 11:37 AM, Christy Lee McBride, 46, Linton, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke bond in a case involving felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. She was being held without bond.

September 16, 2022, 12:16 AM, Roger Allen Burris II, 32, Jasonville, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued in a case involving domestic relations. His bond was set at $1400 cash only. He posted $1400 and was released later the same day. Jasonville Police Officer Skylar Scott was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
