April 26, 2022, 2:51 PM, Samantha Nicole Butler, 26, Springville, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear at her initial hearing on a charge of misdemeanor false informing. Her bond was set at $5000 surety with 10% cash allowed.

April 26, 2022, 2:59 PM, Thomas Wesley Cody Sr., 61, Linton, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear in a case involving felony possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $5000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He posted $500 and was released later the same day. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Andrew Weeks was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers.
