New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, March 9, 2022:

March 8, 2022, 1:56 p.m. – Jonah Andreas Wittgren, 19, Linton, Ind., was arrested on two warrants, one issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for a conviction of felony possession of methamphetamine, and one issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for a conviction of felony battery against a law enforcement officer. In both cases, he was being held without bond. Linton Police Officer Davis Aerne was the arresting officer.

March 8, 2022, 7:33 p.m. – Jody Allen Cordell, 46, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. Linton Police Det. Logan Hobbs was the arresting officer.

March 8, 2022, 9:33 p.m. – Jamie Ranelle Ankenbrand, 43, Vandalia, Ill., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated. She was being held on a surety-only bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Weeks was the arresting officer.
