New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, December 29, 2022:

December 29, 2022, 7:08 AM, Lisa A. Bedwell, 50, Jasonville, Indiana, was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor domestic battery. Her bond was set at $1000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Jasonville Police Officer Skylar Scott was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
