New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, October 18, 2022:

 October 17, 2022, 11:01 AM, Wynter Lee Hale, 28, Linton, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued because her bond was revoked due to failure to comply with the requirements of bond release in a case involving felony operating a vehicle while intoxicated was a passenger less than 18 years of age. She was being held without bond.

October 17, 2022, 8:59 PM, Ashley Sue Ball, 39, Dugger, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued on charges of misdemeanor domestic battery, resisting law enforcement, and refusal to aid an officer. Her bond was set at $2500 surety with 10% cash allowed. She posted $250 and was released on October 18. Greene County Sheriff's Deputy Sergeant Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
