New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, January 3, 2022:

December 30, 2021, 10:49 p.m. – Brandon Tyler Robinson, 38, Greenup, Ill., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony theft with a prior conviction for either theft or conversion, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Camron Frye was the arresting officer.

January 1, 2022, 1:28 a.m. – Ashley Jo Whitfield, 18, Solsberry, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and minor possession of alcohol. Her bond was set at $4,500 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She posted $450 and was released later the same day. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Devan Goad was the arresting officer.

January 2, 20222, 11:29 p.m. – Everett Glenn Sweet, 48, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Huntington County for failure to appear. He was being held without bond. Linton Police Officer Cayden Walker was the arresting officer.
