New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, January 10, 2022:
January 7, 2022, 3:48 p.m. – Steven Ray Howell Jr., 39, Worthington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on charges of felony possession of a legend drug or precursor, and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. His bond was set at $5,500 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $550 and was released later the same day. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Logan Milligan was the arresting officer.
January 7, 2022, 7:56 p.m. – Logan Reed Plano, 18, Loogootee, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a charge of felony theft of property valued at $750-$50,000. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $400 and was released later the same day. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Sgt. Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.
January 7, 2022, 11:45 p.m. – Caressa Dawn Robinson, 40, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor battery resulting in bodily injury. Her bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Logan Milligan was the arresting officer.
January 8, 2022, 6:57 p.m. – Sherri Lyn Scruggs, 53, Switz City, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of misdemeanor organized theft and domestic battery. Her bond was set at $1,500 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She posted $150 and was released on January 9. Linton Police Officer Wayman JR Blazier was the arresting officer.
January 9, 2022, 1:22 a.m. – Roger Dale Lewis, 62, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of another county on a bond revocation. He was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Devan Goad was the arresting officer.
January 9, 2022, 10:12 a.m. – Crystal Renee Overton, 33, Washington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke her bond in a case involving misdemeanor criminal trespassing and inhaling toxic vapors. She was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Harvey Holt was the arresting officer.
