New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, August 24, 2021:

August 23, 3:17 p.m. – John Samuel Dickinson, 43, Worthington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Owen County for a probation violation. He was being held without bond.

August 23, 3:37 p.m. – Norman Alan Muse II, 43, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor domestic battery. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Linton Police Officer Orry Phipps was the arresting officer.

August 23, 4:35 p.m. – Kaleb Chance Powell, 24, Franklin, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear at a change of plea hearing in a case involving felony operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in body, possession of cocaine, and misdemeanor operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in body, violation of  driving conditions, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $10,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed.

August 23, 11:36 p.m. – Javon Emmanuel Patterson, 25, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor possession of marijuana with a prior conviction and on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for a conviction of misdemeanor possession of marijuana. His bond on the new charge was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed but he was being held without bond on the revocation. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy William C. Walker was the arresting officer.

August 24, 12:08 a.m. – Kimberley Jayne Holcomb, 62, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment. Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She posted $400 and was released later the same day. Linton Police Officer Bobby Pierce was the arresting officer.
