New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, August 18, 2021:

August 17, 8:19 a.m. – Brent Eugene Stevens, 48, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on two warrants, one issued for failure to appear in a case involving misdemeanor resisting law enforcement and possession of a controlled substance, and one issued for failure to appear in a case involving misdemeanor battery. His bond in each case was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Courthouse Security Officer Patrick Fulford was the arresting officer.

August 18, 2:43 a.m. – Steven Stoddard Engel, 40, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued in another state for failure to appear. He was being held without bond. Linton Police Officer Bobby Pierce was the arresting officer.
