New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, July 9, 2021:

July 8, 12:45 a.m. – Joseph Sherman Gibson, 40, Switz City, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Sgt. Jordan Allor was the arresting officer. (Note: This entry appeared on yesterday’s Jail Log but mug shot was not available at that time.)

July 8, 6:35 p.m. – David Joseph Sizemore, 56, Lyons, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to report to the county jail to serve a sentence on a conviction of misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He was being held without bond. Lyons Town Marshal C. Royce Honeycutt was the arresting officer.

July 8, 8:38 p.m. – Albert Craig McCampbell, 35, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor domestic battery. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $100. Linton Police Officer Alan Jackson was the arresting officer.

July 8, 11:02 p.m. – Ramsey Stone Ferree, 26, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of felony dealing methamphetamine. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. Linton Police Officer Bobby Pierce was the arresting officer.
