New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, July 21, 2021:

July 20, 1:22 p.m. – Justin Cole Crosby, 38, Bloomfield, Ind., was booked in to jail on a work release violation involving a sentence for felony theft. He was being held without bond.

July 20, 11:13 p.m. – Michael Wayne Hasler, 48, Linton, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of syringe, and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. He was being held without bond pending court appearance. Linton Police Officer Janzen Franklin was the arresting officer.

July 21, 6:05 a.m. – Gerald Leroy Thompson Jr., 30, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony rape and misdemeanor domestic battery. His bond was set at $16,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Linton Police Sgt. Logan Hobbs was the arresting officer.
