New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, July 20, 2021:

July 19, 3:14 p.m. – Matthew David Nowling, 45, Nashville, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for a conviction of felony possession of syringe. He was being held without bond.

July 19, 10:44 p.m. – Jason L. Kopp, 47, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor domestic battery. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Linton Police Officer Janzen Franklin was the arresting officer.
